"It is said, that "one" who was (in the sight of the gods) would step forth from the (darkness) when time was "most dire" and take their place amongst the (Chosen)
Alas, this has become a myth to most
but (curiously) remains a legend to the (Elites), commonly referred to by the Covenant as "Sangheili".
Now, don't get me wrong
the (Elites) do not put themselves into "dire situations" to test this (fable). They still believe in respecting their (Gods) with (honorable intentions)
they just wait for the legend to happen, (which is strange), for they have been waiting since the dawn of time
"Who" is (the one)?... a more common question, "What" (form) will it come as? "Who" is the chosen?
So many questions, so little answers
In all honesty, I avoid in believing in such faerie tales
but, for some (odd) reason, this idiosyncrasy has caught my eye
It contains such curiosity, but the percentage of it's (reality) is quite low
It is redundant!
Yet, here I sit, browsing through history and translated manuscripts
searching
researching
discovering so little evidence
but only a lone piece of (evidence) keeps my determination "riled" up
A similar (incident) has happened earlier in the European Medieval times
Many "moons" ago, as dawn was breaking over the horizon, (Covenant) beings
"Demons" as (the people) had called them
became "stranded". They feasted on goats, and cattle, and even human beings (because of desperate measures) (they were described as "Dragons", "werewolves", and other ridiculous sightings
) in order to survive
One day, (the One) appeared within a drought. As hungry as the (demons) were, they did not devour (the One)
instead, they had been tamed.
Unfortunately, (the One) was accused of witchcraft, and was burned at the stake (along with (it's) "creatures of the dark") by (the people)
twas a shame, really (to have such a "misunderstood life be so savagely taken away
)
Some more "unanswerable" questions posed:
Who was this
"witch"?
How did he/she tame the ravenous monstrosities?
Larger yet, WHO is a decendant of this legend (if there be any at all)?
This mystery yet remains "unsolved"
and as ridiculous as this tale may sound, I intend on "decripting this code"
"
